Jim Smith Jr., CSP Jim Smith Jr. International
Jim “Mr. Energy” Smith, JR., reared in a single parent home in West Philly, is fully convinced that it’s the tough love he received from his mother, Nanci Smith, his manager at the Vanguard Group, Kathy Cook and his Little League coach Mr. Sam, that was the primary sculpting tool for his “no excuses” take on life.
Jim is the President/CEO of Jim Smith Jr. International, where he “jimpacts” organizations and individuals (nationally and internationally) – providing untold numbers of “wow” moments through workshops, keynotes, and coaching. Jim challenges his audiences to take their performance “beyond the next level” and to “get rid of their box altogether,” and not just think outside of it. He’s also an author and thought leader, having written three books and co-authored another. His last book, The No Excuse Guide to Success, was nominated for the 2013 NAACP Image Award. Moreover, Jim “jimpacts” students at Rutgers University and Temple University where he teaches courses in their MBA, Executive MBA, and International EMBA programs.
