FSSA's committees assist the board of directors and headquarters with programs and ideas to advance the organization's mission which is to promote, educate and grow the special hazard fire protection industry. The global outreach committee was established earlier this year to improve global awareness of the special hazard fire suppression industry.
The FSSA Global Outreach Committee is hard at work with efforts to better globalize the association. Take a look at some of the areas of focus for the committee:
- Translations of existing resources to foreign languages
FSSA is making strides to apply translations to the website, technical guides, and other organizational materials. - Establishing partnerships with other international associations
The FSSA is looking to expand our partnerships with other industry organizations through co‐branded webinars and publications. - Participate in global exhibitions and events
We are increasing our efforts to have larger representation at international events, both as attendees and as presenters. - Coordinate peer-to-peer exchange opportunities
We are working to create more opportunities for our members from all over to share knowledge and build relationships.
